Aren’t these two the cutest? Kristle and Clay are both UCLA alumni, which means their babies will be beautiful AND smart! Our engagement session was so much fun. Just they way they look in each other’s eyes tells you how much they love one another. That made our job much easier! We were just their to capture their love. Midway through the shoot,we met Sundance the horse! This handsome fella and his owner were kind enough to allow us to photograph with him. What a treat!!

Yay! we finally have some time to share some photos of our mini vacation to Cancun, Mexico back in May right after I proposed to Uyen! It is great to get a chance to blog about this and relive that special moment when she said YES!
If you guys don’t already know, Uyen and I LOVE shooting with medium format film! particularly with the Contax 645 paired with the trusted Fuji 400H. So it make sense that I hide my proposal on a roll of Fuji 400H and asked her to “change the film” for me. I know, I know…it’s awesome! 🙂 When Uyen said “Yes”, it was the best feeling ever. I’ve never felt so blessed to realize that I get to spend the rest of my lift with this beautiful and talented woman, doing what we both love so dearly.
To fully take advantage of the beautiful Cancun, Mexico, we brought all of our gears and have our sister photograph our Engagement. I must say, it is definitely challenging to be in front of the camera for a change! Good thing we know how to pose… 🙂 Ecstatic to share some photos with you guys! hope you all like them!
We must say, Cancun was a GREAT destination for an engagement shoot and/or for a destination wedding! You can find really great deals to travel here. We found ours on www.AppleVacations.com. Three nights all inclusive including airfare for less than $600! You cannot beat that. So just in case the blue water and white sand is calling your name, contact us so we can capture your special moments!.

This shoot was a great thrill because the soon-to-be bride is a close friend from high school! Kimi and David are care-free spirits who absolute nature and the organic things in life, so we chosen this beautiful park in Huntington Beach, CA to portray this couple. Kimi is a photographer herself, so we’re glad she appreciate the organic feel of medium format film. We are literally counting the days until their rustic-theme wedding in November! By the way, Kimi and David have tons of DIY projects in the work leading up to their wedding and cannot wait to share!

One of the many great things of living in California? The beautiful beaches of course! Victoria Beach, CA is a gorgeous and perfect place for Leah and Mark since they both love the ocean. The beautiful sunset, the crashing waves, and their brilliant smiles made this shoot so enjoyable! Leah is styled perfectly with her bohemian inspired lace dress and floral headband, while Mark look like a total stud himself. Absolutely love this couple and wish them a beautiful and happy marriage.
